Η εναρκτήρια συνάντηση του ευρωπαϊκού έργου με τίτλο INTEGRATE – INclusion and educaTional EnliGhtenment with dRAma and ThEatre πραγματοποιήθηκε την Παρασκευή 9/2/2024 και το Σάββατο 10/2/2024 στην Αθήνα. Οι συμμετέχοντες του έργου είναι το Πανεπιστήμιο Θεσσαλίας (Ελλάδα) με το Τμήμα Ηλεκτρολόγων Μηχανικών και Μηχανικών Υπολογιστών, το Balamòs Teatro (Ιταλία), το Théâtre de l’Opprimé (Γαλλία), το ApiccoCommunity (Ελλάδα) και το Sigma-Art (Ρουμανία). Η κύρια ιδέα του έργου είναι η υλοποίηση πολιτιστικών δράσεων (και πιο συγκεκριμένα θεάτρου) σε ομάδες ενήλικων κρατουμένων που βρίσκονται σε 4 ευρωπαϊκές χώρες (Ελλάδα, Ρουμανία, Γαλλία και Ιταλία). Κάθε θεατρικός εταίρος θα εφαρμόσει την προσέγγισή του στο θέατρο και την τέχνη μέσα στη φυλακή και θα υλοποιήσει μια σειρά μαθημάτων, ανταλλάσσοντας παράλληλα τις εμπειρίες του και προσεγγίζοντας κοινωνικά ζητήματα μέσα από τη δική του οπτική γωνία.
The kick-off meeting of the European project entitled INTEGRATE – INclusion and educaTional EnliGhtenment with dRAma and ThEatre and project No 101131692 took place on Friday 9/2/2024 and Saturday 10/2/2024 in Athens. Partners of the project are the University of Thessaly (Greece) with the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Balamòs Teatro (Italy), Théâtre de l’Opprimé (France), ApiccoCommunity (Greece) and Sigma-Art (Romania). The main idea of this project is the implementation of cultural activities (and more specifically theater) in groups of adult incarcerated people located in 4 European countries (Greece, Romania, France, and Italy). Each theatrical partner will apply its approach to theatre and art inside prison and will implement a series of lessons, while exchanging their experiences and approaching social issues through their own perspective.
At the same time, an interactive platform with advanced search and personalization tools will be implemented, in which small video clips will be uploaded per thematic category and theatrical organization along with an hour-long documentary depicting the entire progress of theatrical groups over the 2 years of the project.
We are looking forward to the implementation of all the project activities, the beginning of the theatrical lessons inside the prison’s facilities, the platform that will host the material of the partners, and of course the next in-person meeting of the group in Bucharest!
