Contents: Basic semiconductor theory and devices. Diodes and MOS transistors. Switching operation of transistor. Inverter and basic logic gates. Delay and power dissipation of logic gates. Amplifier operation of transistor. Basic amplifier circuits. Gain and bandwidth of amplifiers. Operational amplifiers.
Laboratory is included on the analysis and simulation of electronic circuits with SPICE.
The course constitutes the basic introductory course on modern electronics technology, and covers the circuit implementation of the basic digital and analog electronic cells with MOS transistors, as well as the computer simulation of electronic circuits.
