Practice Training (Internship) is an important educational activity of the Department and is offered as an elective course to undergraduate students. It connects theory with practice, aiming at the practical application and utilization of the theoretical scientific knowledge, competences and skills acquired through the successful completion of the study programme and the smooth integration of students into the labor market.
The Practical Training is optional, lasting two (2) months.
It is usually carried out during the months of July and August, as a full duration activity.
Undergraduate students who have completed the sixth semester of studies may participate in the Practical Training.
The applications of students who meet the aforementioned participation requirements are evaluated immediately after the end of the applications period by the Practical Training Committee on the basis of a specific grading algorithm that allows for their ranking, while social criteria apply.
The Practical Training is an 8th semester elective course, graded with a “pass” – “fail” designation and receives 6 ECTS credits. Students have the possibility to complete the Practical Training until the end of their studies.
The Practical Training of students may be carried out in public services, legal entities under public law, Local Authorities of first and second degree, legal entities under private law and enterprises, under the guidance and supervision of the Supervisor of Practical Training.
