Introduction to microelectronic materials (Si, Ge, SiO2, high-k dielectrics) and the problems that exist when we miniaturize devices. Introduction to Quantum Mechanics (principles, quantum particle, potential well). Quantum devices. Understanding of the physical limits that exist hindering the miniaturization of devices.
Elements of the course:

•  Introduction to microelectronic materials (Si, Ge, SiO2, high-k dielectrics) and the problems that exist when we miniaturize devices
•  Introduction to Quantum Mechanics (principles, quantum particle, potential well).
